GAFFA is a temporary offspace in Manegg, Zurich, set inside a building scheduled for demolition. I renovated the space myself, turning a raw structure into an exhibition room with an upper floor and a large hall in front of it.

From March to June 2026, GAFFA hosts four group exhibitions, moving through questions of growth, exposure, fragile support, and landing. The room is not a neutral container, but part of the project: provisional, peripheral, and already close to disappearing.

In my work, the conditions around an image, object, or situation are never secondary. GAFFA continues this concern as a spatial and social format: a room that shapes what becomes visible, how people gather, and how long something can hold before it disappears.
